restoring right relationship

with ourselves, each other & the world

Dear Seeker,

we’ve been taught to ‘fit in’. but it is our birthright to belong.

In the words of Christiane Pelmas, “Fitting-in is a process of conforming ourselves to the demands of the society. Belonging is the ecological process of living ever-more into the unique shape we alone were born to be, in service of ourselves and the Grand Ecology of The World.”

Yet so many of us have traded our belonging for fitting-in. At some point in our lives, we learned to earn love by being quieter, easier, smarter. Over time, we got so used to being ‘good’ that we forgot how to be free.

My work as a therapist is to help you disentangle from the beliefs and experiences that have separated you from your authentic self. Because while patriarchal society may benefit from our ‘fitting-in’, what our World needs is our belonging - each of us fully embodied in our unique intelligence, expression, and contribution.

My Practice

relational

I don’t believe in pathologizing our humanity. I practice attuning to what’s arising in the moment, and bringing curiosity to the complex and creative ways we have each learned to navigate life.

TRAUMA trained

So many of us are holding on to wounds and trauma that we can’t seem to talk or think our way out of. I specialize in trauma resolution modalities that are both somatic and experiential, facilitating healing on a nervous system level for deep and lasting change.

whole person

As multi-dimensional beings, I believe in healing that’s integrative. I blend gestalt therapy with somatic practices and transpersonal psychology to tend to our physical, emotional and spiritual layers.

nature inspired

I collaborate with the natural world, and its unparalleled ability to bring us into the present moment, widen our attention, awaken our senses, and remind us of our inherent belonging.

process driven

I am a skeptic of “quick fixes;” and choose to trust in the natural pacing of a client’s process. Our journey may be slow, non linear, and mysterious at times, but true transformation is deep and long-lasting.

I welcome all identities, cultures and relationships in my practice. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and work with a range of cultural and religious backgrounds.
